About Cruise
Cruise is a small independent driving school based in Cheslyn Hay, South Staffs. We operate in all areas of Cannock, and surrounding districts including; Cheslyn Hay, Great Wyrley, Essington, Featherstone, Bloxwich, and Pelsall.
Cruise Instructors Steve and Terry are both retired Police Officers, each serving over 30years and both attaining ‘Police Advanced Driver’ status. They have unrivalled experience of driving all types of vehicles in the most difficult of conditions, often at high speeds in emergency situations. They both understand the importance of driving to a high standard, and have seen first hand the tragic consequences when standards fall below the required level.
Steve and Terry are both highly professional but carry out their lessons in a friendly and patient manner. Their training is structured, thorough, and geared towards presenting clients for test who are consistently better than the required level.Using Cannock Test Centre, Cruise pass rate in 2006 and 2007 was over 70%. The overall pass rate at the test centre was around 45%.
Cruise Instructors use modern Vauxhall Corsa’s, and undertake to present the vehicles in a clean, tidy, and safe condition. The cars are fully insured, and the certificates are available for inspection any time.
